Infrastructure Services Development and Support
Infrastructure Services provides tools to the Texas A&M University community to identify, authenticate, and authorize users wishing to access applications.
Infrastructure Services also supports messaging services for the Texas A&M University community.
Infrastructure Services include:
- Directory Services: TAMU's Enterprise LDAP Directory
- TAMU Namespaces: Registries of unique, global, persistent names for TAMU-specific directory-related resources
- Authentication (AuthN) and Authorization (AuthZ) Services: The Central Authentication Service (CAS) provides Web-based authentication. Shibboleth provides inter-institutional access to resources as well as application access to restricted user identity data required for user authorization.
- Identity Management Services: NetID account management
- Messaging Services: Campus email
This site houses detailed documentation geared toward application developers wanting to leverage these services. To manage your personal NetID account, please go to http://gateway.tamu.edu.
