LDAP displayName attribute properties, usage and population rules
Definition: Account holder's preferred name.
Attribute Name: 'displayName'
OID: 1.2.840.113556.1.2.13

Multiple Values: Single-valued
Format: case-insensitive Unicode String (equivalent to Directory String)

The UTF-8 character set is used to encode name values.
Value format is: lastName suffix, firstName
Search Syntax: fANR | fATTINDEX
Controlled Vocabulary: not applicable
Source: If preferred name values are provided by data sources, those are used to generate the displayName value.
Otherwise, the name values provides by the data sources are used.
